Caesar Salad Dressing has a creamy, umami, garlic flavor which is why it has become a beloved and classic dressing. This is a simple version you can whip together in less than 10 minutes and you’ll see it’s worth keeping a tube of anchovy paste in your refrigerator. Simply leave out the Parmesan cheese for a dairy-free version. Use to make a classic Caesar salad or as a dip for vegetables instead of ranch.
Featured Ingredients
Lemons are the most nutrient-dense citrus fruit. They are particularly rich in vitamin C, providing more vitamin C than oranges per serving! Vitamin C has powerful antioxidant properties, along with serving as an enzyme cofactor, and playing important roles in immune system and mental health.
Garlic is the top food source of thiosulfinates, which are sulfur-containing compounds responsible for diverse health benefits including powerful anticancer properties as well as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-thrombotic effects.
While cheese has an average Nutrivore Score of 140, making it a low nutrient-dense food, it is one of the most concentrated food sources of calcium and generally delivers good amounts of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), monounsaturated fats (MUFAs), protein, phosphorus, selenium, vitamin A, vitamin B2, vitamin B12, and zinc.
