“I’ve followed Dr. Sarah Ballantyne on social media for some time. I asked her questions and she always replied. She is so easy to understand. I’ve been been waiting for her book and now have read enough to give a proper review. This isn’t a fad diet, this isn’t another restrictive eating exercise. It’s about food. You’ll learn which foods, found in your local grocery store, can provide you with the nutrients you need. I’m in my 60’s and had health issues like most. I eat well, but now can eat better. Learning which foods, and some in such small servings can improve your health. Having black berries occasionally in my oatmeal instead of only blueberries, the amount of better nutrients is amazing. That’s Nutrivore in a nut shell. It’s that simple. Really. Buy this book for your health. I’ll be living longer and better…..” – BillT review on Amazon
“This book is fantastic. I have been following Dr. Ballantyne for a long while now and was so excited that she was writing a book. It’s even better than I expected (and I knew it would be good!) It’s an easy, interesting read and I’m most excited about the good-quality research to which she refers throughout the book. Dr. Ballantyne, the Nutrivore website and now this book are the best resources out there for reliable, current nutrition information. I highly, recommend this book.” – Amelia306 review on Amazon
I’ve studied nutrition for years, sometimes being an annoyingly too nerdy health nut (in the 1970s+) sometimes not so nutty (although always loving nuts & seeds & good veggies). Having so many details at my fingertips makes yields good decisions when I’m questioning myself, and then actually enjoying them at the table. While I’m internet savvy in my late 70s, it’s good to have this resource and less searching elsewhere. This will probably inform my raised bed gardening decisions, too. – Heidi on Amazon
